someday i will be able to afford my kz habit.
great fellow kzr member! was created by kawsakiman
i know this is not really bike related but in a way it is.
awhile ago i posted asking a question on how to mount the cables on this set of 34bs's that i have for my 650.
i guess i was missing a bracket.
skyman (steve) pm'd me and offered me the bracket for free!
he would not accept any shipping or enough for a case of beer or anything!
in fact he actually told me not to send him anything or he would be mad.
he wanted to see a fellow member be able to finish a project and ride this year.
now it is people like him who keep me comming back here even though i have had a difference of opinion with some fellow members at times.
for the most part, everyone here has their good points and bad points.
but for a fellow member to reach into his own pocket and pay for shipping and give up a part for free is going above and beyond.
steve, i have your address and you will be getting a christmas card thanking you again.
it is people like him who make this the best damm sight out there!
kudos to steve!
karma will be your friend for helping out a member a little down on his luck!

[Paul Harvey voice]And now, the rest of the story...[/Paul Harvey voice]
Just a couple days after I sent Kawsakiman the bracket, I had my accident which, among other things, bung'd up my front master cylinder. Kawsakiman just happened to have an extra m/c in his possession, and he offered it to me.
This is indeed a great community we have here. It's cool that we who share a love of old Kawi's can help each other out from time to time.
Thanks K-man!

I also really love the community here. It's great to have people to help out with advice and also with the search for parts.
I just want to thank everyone that's helped me and I hope to get my bike fixed back up from the wreck soon and get back on the road.

Hey Skyman - That is what I call a perfect example of paying forward.
BTW Kawaskiman (Steve) is first class and represents the spirit of kzrider. I think he is going to have to have some more kids to name his growing stable of bikes:)
