Overpriced spedo?

Unless someone has deep pockets this starting price will just sit there forever. Don't expect to see any bids.

Well, I'd certainly like to have it. But my pockets are not THAT deep. :whistle:

One thing I've learn about ebay is that you never know much an item can worth until the auction is ended.

I've had put a hand on a pile of box full fo old CB750 parts and put a few items on ebay that I didn't need for my project. One of them was a new RPM and it has end at 1,500$ USD.................. it was for a CR750 and seem like a lot of people a looking for them....

I'm still speachless about it.... The funniest part is that I had a second one. That one went for around 1,000$.....

I have no credit for this, didn't even know wath was a CR750....... just a lucky day!

End of the story, I took the money and got a GPZ1100B2 and a KZ1000J.

I haven't got deep pockets but I bought this lot on Ebay yesterday for $127 which I thought was pretty good.
It will cost me a bit more to ship them to the UK but the exchange rate is pretty good for us at the moment.
Interesting to hear some of the other guys talking about prices for a Z900 A4, in pristine condition over here you would be paying around $10,000 at least. My pockets aren't that deep though!!

your the one who bought those gauges.....I watched them for a few days, I knew they would go for over $100.
Trust me that is a good price, the gauge bracket alone is $150 from KLASMO Kawasaki. That the set you bought was the second gauge set in a week and the previous one sold for $150. If it ends up you have two brackets then I would gladly buy one from you.......

I see this kind of stuff on ebay and quite often say. "What a moron, I can buy that for half that price through Kawasaki". So I get my new parts cross reference CD out and check it out. The parts CD lists prices that are outdated by about 20% generally, but I can get an idea. The speedo in question here looks like a KZ1000A3 or similar. The CD shows a list of $568.00 on that speedo. Buy this one on ebay and save a cool $200

This is what those gauges were worth retail...

just to let you all know.
i'm sitting on about $2700.00 worth of them gauges right now.
if anyone feels like giving me $372.00 for one set (not just the speedo, a whole set) i will gladlly accept it.
between me and my partner, we have a ton of these.

i am willing to get rich accepting money for gauges we sell for about $100 all day long.

any takers?
