And, H2RICK, if you are confused now, log on to some of the Japanese Z sites and you'll find some that list the following: 1972 = Z1, 1973 = Z1A, and 1974 = Z1B. I thought that the "anorak term" was soley a UK term, but it appears that you colonials are familiar with it.

I think one of my grandfathers was an Anorakian cuz I do have an interest in frame/engine numbers versus year and models, etc.....or maybe he was an accountant... :ohmy:
Whatever, the whole thing is such a mishmash and the scarey part is that the Japanese are such an orderly and logical (usually) people. Of course, having the Lincoln plant producing parallel models doesn't help sort out things either....
