free 650 parts bike

3 Hours? shoot, I drive more than that every day! You should consider it, sounds like there are a few good parts, beside, there is always eBay:)

Mario I have to agree with Rick, go and get it. Since you already have a 750 and lots of the parts interchange as well as having a couple of 650's that thing can be a treasure trove of spare parts.

The wife might not notice the 6th bike in the garage.
But that's a 6 hrs round trip for a parts bike.
Gotta talk to my buddy with the truck....
Anybody in the area that might be able to store the bike for a few weeks/month?

Mario you are looking at this all wrong. Yes it might be 6 hrs to drive to get a parts bike, but think of how much time you will save driving down to the Kaw dealer and then standing in line at the parts counter to get something you need. As we all know with old bikes you always need something. Trust me having a parts bike or two hanging around is worth it's weight in gold. And what you don't need you can always off on ebay. As far as the wife goes, I can't offer much advice, mine still isn't here yet so for the moment I can still do whatever I want.:evil:

Sounds to me like the perfect parent child bonding experience to me....just take them with you when you go to pick it up. :evil: Just do what my mother used to do, load them up in the car and tell them you are going on a "mystery trip" ....just wait to tell them where you are going until you get there.:evil: On the way home stop and buy them ice cream and then tell them the trip was a big secret so they won't tell the wife.
