Well, I'm in Kansas city, but my bike ain't.
Test rode it Thursday in the rain. Everything was fine until I lost #4 cylinder. Limped home, did the diagnostics, and have figured out that the carb boot is broke.
Apparently, the vacuum leak that I had a month ago, then suddenly fixed itself came back to haunt me. So I'll be ordering some carb boots when I get home.
I drove the truck instead.
Made it to the HD plant. Test rode a Glide and a V-Rod.
V-Rod was OK, pretty quick, but the forward controls felt ridiculous. And I thought the Gixxer I rode last week felt ridiculous.
I really miss my KZ.
Gonna go try a Buell today, and Maybe a Dyna or something.
Good thing my bike broke at home and not halfway here.
Did I mention I REALLY MISS MY KZ??

I agree, the MC magazines were very impressed with the bandit! Also impressed with the new (ugly?) KZ1000! "Made in Japan" really means something now!!

1980 KZ650F1, Bought new out the door for $2,162.98!
