Bandit 1200

Went window shopping today and saw an '02 Bandit with 4.3k and they're asking for 3,900. Is that in the ball park? They (dealership) went through it and after $600.00 tab the owner decided to get a different bike. Bike looked almost perfect. Only concern was a lot of discoloration on the headers. I should have, but I didn't get exactly which 1200 it is.

The price is about right. Maybe a couple of hundred high. But if a good shop has gone over it, it is probably a good deal.

I really like the Bandit. Air cooled, torquey motor and lightly faired. Has a comfortable upright seating position.

Watch out for your nads. Its a ball slapping wheelie machine! If you are leaning over the tank even a little and rap on the gas (in any gear), the front end will jump off the ground and the tank will bust your cajones.:ohmy:

I have a 2001 Bandit 1200S for sale in the want ads... am willing to deal. The bike is still for sale. My bike has a LOT of desireable mods.
