I have a question for the seasoned KZ boys/girls out there! I would like to know what a 78 650B would be worth that needs points, coil pacs, seat cover and a little more love than I have time to give. I am the second owner. The guy I got it from bought it brand new in 1978! Aside from a little black primer on the side covers and duck tail it looks the same as my avitar. Thanks

A 650 that does not run, does not have original paint (sidecovers) and does not have the original tail might be worth around $400-500. We are getting torwards the end of the riding season so pricing are starting to go down. Since your bike does not run I would assume somebody would buy it to fix over the winter and ride next year. I would say $500 would be a fair price.

I bought a 650B in similar condition a year and a half ago from my neighbor for $250 and that included a half of a parts bike. To top it off he got it just for picking it up but then put up with the BS of getting the titles for me. I'm sure that I've put at least $500 to $600 more into it over the past year and it still needs a paint job.

Given what the next owner may have to put into it, you may get $500 or somewhat less for it.
