This idea in my head won't go away.
I don't want to organize it, or run it, I just want to join it.
I'm willing to contribute to the Newsletter, and take advantage of Member Discounts on KZ parts.;)

Maybe there's someone that's got the time and energy to start something like this... If you're out there, count me in as a member.

'76 KZ900 LTD (Blaze)
'96 Voyager XII (Dark Star)
'79 KZ650 Cafe Project (Dirty Kurt)

Well, in essence, you already belong...KZRider, open to worldwide membership, should have been called ZRider as the group is truely international ... our Kawasaki's are only called KZ's in North America...they are Z's in all other parts of the world. By adopting the moniker of 'KZ' Stein may have inadvertently skewed membership towards North Americans.:)

EDIT: Or are you suggesting KZR regional chapters?
EDIT: Have you considered VJMC? It is very nice, they have a chat group, internet presence, annual and regional meetings, and a bi-monthly mag...

Hey Tim,
I'd bet that 85% of KZR members are North Americans so I figure you're already a member. I know a great dealer in Missouri who gives discounts to members of the Wyzard's Voyager site. If I get him to give a 10% discount to KZR members would you be impressed?

I'll send him an email tonight. I have a local dealer who charges me full freight for every part I buy. Doug at Doug's Cycle Shop in Missouri does charge me for shipping but with the 10% discount it becomes a wash and I don't have to visit the local boutique.

I've been doing business with Doug Farnen the owner of Doug's Cycle Shop for about five years now. He's always treated my well and has been a good resource for technical knowledge and Kawasaki Parts.

Doug has agreed to offer a ten percent discount to any member of KZR on Kawasaki Parts. All you have to do is say your a member here and he'll give you the discount. It's that simple.

Now I live in Oregon and I've never been to Doug's Shop, which is in Missouri, so he ships all my orders. I, of course, have to pay for the shipping but most every sale ends up saving me money and I get to avoid the trip to the Kawasaki Boutique to boot.

Doug's Cycle Shop is located on HWY 24 W in Salisbury, Mo 65218. The Phone number is 660-388-6159.

He's always been a pleasure to deal with.
