The guy said it did run, and now it won't. Makes a crunch sound when you start it.

I just finished rewiring it... pulled in the clutch and hit the button....


SCREECH!!!

Well well... someone should have studied up on his mechanics. ;) It needs the starter from the other motor swapped in.

What kind of KZ is it? I hear that the 750 twins starter clutch will do that. So what kind is it?

I got some other stuff to finish though... paint, new exhaust, pods, electrical, etc.

Well you should check the post in the "engine" section I think its under "KZ750 starter" it stated that the starter clutch bolts back out and if left alone even if you kick it it will do damage.
