I just started my project, and i need parts but there just isnt a whole lot of new parts made for a 30 year old bike.why is that? if you wanted to build say a 67 camaro you could go to yearone and get everything you needed, thats just alot of bs,don't tell me there isnt a market for the parts cause in this forum alone there are 94 yes 94 pages full of members and right now there are 57 members online and 7 guests!Somone better get on the ball...just my rant for today

Actually...there is a grain of truth to his rant...while there are many new/aftermarket parts available for Z1/KZ1000/KZ1100 bikes, there is less available for the 750 line. This may be due to few people restoring/rebuilding 750s' but many more are restoring the bigger bikes...boils down to supply and demand.

Z1E probably won't be able to help you with the wiring harness...you will have to become one with the eBay Gods...like the rest of us:) All things for your bike will appear on eBay...you just have to be patient...as for the manual...used Kawasaki Heavy Industry shop manuals appear fairly regularly...(the manual you need is Kawasaki part number 99924-1021-0X [the last two digits are the edition number]) expect to pay between US$15 and $30 depending on bidding frenzy...it is absolutely the best manual for your bike.

EDIT: If memory serves me correctly, the KHI manual for your bike has been posted on-line...someone needs to jump in here and post the link...then you can download it for nothing.
