I get the rare, occasional wave from Harley guys, but usually only from the older, experienced Harley guys. Not really the weekend warrior, pretend 1% guys.

Do you find that you start seeing the same people?

I pass the same old guy on the same old Harley at the same place every morning and he waves every time.

Based on your member name...maybe she is checking out your wings!?

I try to wave or nod as the situation allows. I have very much noticed here in South Florida that Harley Riders tend to wave only to other Harley riders. Everyone else in general on two wheels is pretty friendly. Just an observation, and not always the case every time. Who cares if they wave back... If waving makes you feel good then go for itB)

I heard that the 2 finger wave (index and middle finger together) pointing down about 45 degrees, means keep the wheels down. seems like good advice;)

I do the low wave, feel bad if caught shifting or cornering and can't wave. The wave has been around for years, we bikers stick together!;)

I usually find that when there is a big group, I either get a line of waves or nothing. The bigger the group, the more likely it is that everybody will wave. I always assume that you just don't want to be the jerk that doesn't when everybody else in your group does.

Pillions always wave. I think that's about their only job on the bike... that, and yelling "slow down!" (don't ask).

continually smack your helmet with theirs when you shift or stop because they have a death grip around your waist...
