Trying to find a project bike now because was created by skyhawkVIP550
Well guys I am not new to the fourm but I am just now back to it. I used to have a 1981 KZ550 a few years back it was my first bike and well I then moved into newer sport bikes which I enjoy a lot and well I just recently had a REALLY bad accident on my 2004 suzuki GSXR 1000 mat mladin edition bike and it is no longer around and not even salvagable so I am kinda lookin around for a older bike something to just cruize around on and have the old school look like a KZ 1000 or somthing along those lines and I would like to find one as a project so I can kinda build it the way I want it.

I don't recall your (real) name, but I think I remember you.
You're the one who had a pic of you on your bike (w/out a helmet) doing a burnout as your avatar who a lot of members were giving you grief over the no helmet thingy?
Welcome back!
Sorry to hear about the demise of your Gixxer.
Since you can obviously still type, I gather you faired better than your bike did from the accident?
Good luck on your search for a "new" bike.

Yes I did have the aviator of me doing a burnout on the 550 without the lid. I remember both of you guys. I am not doing bad now but I was real bad. The injurys I got was a collapsed lung, broken tooth, compound break in my right leg, brain bleed, fractured skull, real bad cuts all over my face, and a little internal bleeding. I have some pics of the accident but dont know to post them.

Fractured skull?? Were you wearing a helmet? I assume since you had cuts all over your face that you were riding without a lid. That is a hard lesson to learn I guess.

I have a GS1000 shaft drive in Atlanta that I'd like to turn into $ for KZ parts. Close enough?

No I was not wearing a lid. I should have been but decided not to take it to work with me because it gets in the way and gets dirty as hell at work. The accident happend on the highway on the way home from work.
I am not sure what kinda bike I want yet but PM me a little more about the GS 1000
