like ducks was created by beardog63
Took the z1B to a local bike night last night i'm not usually into that but a buddy talked me into it. The reaction was amazing all these cruiser drivers and harley owners flocked to my bike. My buddy likened it to feeding ducks. Anyone who says old kawi's don't get respect is dead wrong!! Any way it was kinda interesting to talk about my old bike with all these owners of new bikes....go figure:cheer:

I always get the same reaction whenever I go to bike night at Hooters or any charity rides I go on. Both the KZ and the Triumph always get lots of attention. All the older riders either had one or knew someone who had on. They talk about how fast the Z's were and how cool the Triumph's were. I never get any grief from anyone except the sport bike crowd. That works out great cause I don't give a crap about what those guys think anyway. I would much rather get respect from a guy who has owned more than one bike in his life.

Hey I've noticed that whenever I park my 1300 at a bike gathering the Ducatis would move over closer to my Kaw whenever their owners were not looking.
Strange heh?

While I no longer own a classic bike, I still love them. I get a big smile on my face when I see an old classic bike out riding around. Regarding getting flak from sport bike riders (yes, I ride a sport bike), they are just jealous. The KZ is an awesome bike, and I wish I still had mine.
