I blew off work Thursday afternoon to cruise up to Laconia to check out the sights. Same Old, Same Old stuff- a sea of Harleys, each with more chrome, and thousands of wanna-bees strutting around in their squeaky new chaps and official H-D doo-rags....Even the under-dressed skanks are getting boring.:S
I wasn't there very long, but only spotted one old Kawasaki, this 750 triple. I'm guessing it's around a '75?

It's a 2 stoke. Might have a leaky oil line or something.

Nevco, thanks for taking a pic of one of the decent bikes that were there!

It's either a 74 or a 75. My 74 is my avatar. A 74-75 H2 has a lot of oil lines. You have one to the pump and 6 off the pump, plus expansion chambers will always make a mess with oil getting all over. You never know though, maybe he just parked there and someone else has just left a leak moments before. Laconia used to be the blast of the year. Not the same now I'd wager to bet.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

This is the only H-D that I bothered to take a picture of, and it was most definitely dripping oil! I actually like rat bikes regardless of brand and this one fits the bill. The owner said it is "mostly" a '77, and those bungee cords really are holding the tank on. At least he rode it from out of state, not trailered it up!

Nevan,

You should ride down to Lake George, New York for Americade. A much better time could be had. My buddy and I had a blast. Got to ride a few new bikes and no hassles from anybody. There were even a few KZ's there. B)
