You guessed it, it's almost Vegas time again!
Rose and I have attended the last 5 (or is it 6? Danged old age! :pinch:) years straight, and have always had a blast!
Here's a link to it in the events calendar, which also has a link to the official BikeFest site for info and registration info:

Hope to see some of you there!

I'd really like to go to bikefest this year. Don't know if I can swing it, though.
I hate riding on the 15 to/from Vegas in an SUV... I can't imagine what it's like on a bike.
R4 - When will you leave and return? Do you take time off and go early or come back late?
Anyone else thinking about going?

I am going to take the Thursday and Friday off that week, just hope I can convince the wifey I need to go to sin city to spend some quality time with my biker friends:whistle:
Actually, if my wifey can get the time off, I will bring her along for ballast, just don't tell her I said that

Nicole has never been to Las Vegas, so this might be something we do next year, for our first anniversary.
Maybe a bike that she can ride on the back of could be in the works for next year. It will already be running. Maybe a ZRX1200. :woohoo: San Francisco to Vegas. I just told her, and she didn't say "NO!". :silly:

Rose and I will be taking Thursday, Friday and the following Monday off of work - Monday is to recooperate from all the riding and libations.
The last few years we've stayed the night at my sisters house in San Bernardino and left to Vegas Thursday morn, and then returned on Sunday. This year however we've decided differently since there are other folks that will be going.
We'll be leaving from our own home in Covina on Thursday morning to Corona to meet up with a co-worker of Rose's, then on towards Vegas from there. In the past we've always stopped on Main street in Hesperia for breakfast at Bob's Big Boy and to fuel up at the 76 station next to it, and will more than likely do that again this year.
Tim,
The ride truely isn't all that bad, and we stop roughly every 100 miles to refuel, stretch our legs and rehydrate.
If you're interested in going, perhaps we could meet up either at the Bob's Big Boy for breakfast (Main street isn't to far from the 395), or at the intersection of the 15 and 40 fwy's where we normally do our first official fuel/stretch/rehydrate stop?
You'd better get your ticket(s) and room reservations fast though before they get bought/booked up, and all that's left is an over-priced room at the no-tell ho-tel. :pinch:
K-Bob,
That's an awful nice offer bud, and we'd be fools not to take you up on it.
B-b-q'd Brauts are one of my favs!
