Give this guy a try. His name is Ron Reichert from Purple Haze Racing. He's been great to me although it's been 10 yrs since I've talked to him. Hopefully he's still around. The website is here.

Yup, the "Triple Crowd" lost a real friend when Ron Passed away, it's been 2-3 years now, just before Christmas. As recently as a year ago I ordered stuff from his wife. Same excellent service. They have almost everything you need. Purple Haze Racing.

If not, try Johnny's Vintage Motorcycle parts in Ohio, 330-335-7365 between the two, I've given them zillions of dollars in the last 10-15 years or so.

It's called "Kawasakidis", I'm not currently searching for a cure for it.

If you end up needing machining work, Laurie at Purple Haze Racing can point you in the right direction.

Have fun, a H2 is one of the top "FUN" bikes in the world that I know of. Very cool sound with chambers and "gittin' on it".

Once you get er' going they'll have to surgically remove the smile from your face.

Wow, bummer to hear that Ron R passed away. :(

Purple Haze has always offered outstanding performance work for the triples (mainly the H2's), and it's great to hear that his widow is keeping the business alive and continuing to make these very hard to find services available.

But if you're going for a complete (and correct) resto of your H2, don't forget to check with Rick Brett in the UK.
Be sure to check out the NOS and hard-to-tell-from-OEM repro parts he has available, as well as the resto services he offers.
Ask anyone who is hard-core into the trples, and Ricks name will probably be the first they will mention.
I'm surprised no one here had mentioned him yet, since he's pretty much the go-to guy where triples are concerned worldwide.
Heck, he's probably done more complete ground-up restos on triples than most of us have even seen! B)
