How many folks on here use their KZ as a daily commuter to work?

Hm, lemme see.
Sit in bumper-to-bumper traffic sweatin'/swearin'/sniffin' exhaust fumes for an hour+ with all of the other poor shlubs, or enjoy the rush of riding my KZ (albeit for only 25 mins each way) to and from work.
I'd say it's a no-brainer. ;)

I ride my SR650 to work on most days when the weather is dry and above 50*F...unless I have other errands to run.
With the cost of gas around $3.30 here, I use my bike as much as possible. Fortunately I have only about 10 miles to commute ;)

I'm 55 miles from work. I only ride once or twice a week to work. Partly because I don't want to pile up the miles on the bike, but mostly because it's business casual here, and I don't feel like keeping a change of clothes at work.

I have the good fortune to only live 3 miles from work and have a nice shaded sidewalk to park on. I rode my original blue KZ650 almost every day from 1978-1996, then my other blue KZ650 from 1996 to now. So for nearly 30 yrs now there's been a blue KZ650 parked on the sidewalk out front here nearly every day.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

I'm 55, when I was younger mid 30's-40's and lived closer, 12 mi, I rode the bike to work most days it was above 50F and not raining.
Now that both myself and my bike are not so young anymore and commuting 30 mi each way as well as all the new fools who took their drivers test in a language not english, I just cannot do it.
