Hm, lemme see.
Sit in bumper-to-bumper traffic sweatin'/swearin'/sniffin' exhaust fumes for an hour+ with all of the other poor shlubs, or enjoy the rush of riding my KZ (albeit for only 25 mins each way) to and from work.
I'd say it's a no-brainer.

With the cost of gas around $3.30 here, I use my bike as much as possible. Fortunately I have only about 10 miles to commute Dave and Janet Great Lake State 1979 650SR

I rode my original blue KZ650 almost every day from 1978-1996, then my other blue KZ650 from 1996 to now. So for nearly 30 yrs now there's been a blue KZ650 parked on the sidewalk out front here nearly every day. 321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

I'm 55, when I was younger mid 30's-40's and lived closer, 12 mi, I rode the bike to work most days it was above 50F and not raining.
Now that both myself and my bike are not so young anymore and commuting 30 mi each way as well as all the new fools who took their drivers test in a language not english, I just cannot do it.

'82 KZ750 CSR, M1 twin. Mac 2-1 exhaust, K&N pods, 17tooth drive sprocket, Mikuni BS-34 carbs w/#47.5 pilot jet and #125 main jet, Canadian XS650 needlejetjet needle, Wired George's coil mod.
