Hey, to do think KZr can support a Video Gallery?
Thanks!
Yes, we can. I'm sure that it will pull bandwidth like crazy though. If we keep the clip sizes reasonably small, it should be just fine.
Give me a few days to come up with a video gallery, and we'll give it a shot

Noice!! I'm gonna be making a handlebar based mount for my bike.. I've got a nice digital still that can take vids too, so on my trip down to the Catskills this weekend, I'll take some shots Unfortunately, mine doesn't have sound capabilities - so I'll put some tunes in mine. Or, maybe I can borrow a friend's camera instead..we'll see!

I've got this little video camera, it's about the size of a cell phone. I was thinking about mounting it on the handlebars, but I was afraid that the vibration would be too much. I'm thinking about a way to wear it, like in a transparent pocket in my jacket.

Here's the pic that I took with My cell-phone.Poor quality, but I'll post another one(close-up) when I mount the bracket again.
For now though(for Rob)...it's mounted at 2 points...one at the exhaust mount, and the other at the foot-peg mount. It's braced,as well,to keep it from bouncing.
Anyway...I'll post another pic when I mount it again...
I hope you bought a box of those cameras, 'cause if you RIDE you're gonna go through a few of them!!
Maybe mount it about the right horn? Get the movement of the front suspension, and still be safe in a tip-over?

I was thinking about mounting it on the handlebars, ... I'm thinking about a way to wear it, like in a transparent pocket in my jacket.
There was a guy on YouTube who had very good results with a small point and shoot mounted IN his hemlet. Don't know how...
Lipstick cameras are fairly cheap now too and can be mounted to the top of the helmet and plugged into the camera.

As far as mounting it near the horn...too hot in there, for a camera.
I really want to be able to hear the pipe...I think it will add so much more to the video, rather than just hearing the wind blasting by...the rap of the Kerker gives a way better impression!

What would be a reasonable file-size,Stein?
A 5 minute clip is going to be pretty large, but if compressed and encoded,it would reduce the size quite a bit.I'm just learning(playing) with that,to see what results I get.
That clip was 2:03,and originally it was about 150 MB's,but I managed to shrink it down to about 40 MB's,using Windows Media Encoder.
