Mile high ride was created by Gosling1
As I'm sitting here in the bi-polar colorado weather reading about how all of the west coast kz's are having their fun running up and down the coast while it can't decide to rain, snow, or be nice here i found a possible ride that would be kinda cool for all of us mile highers here. I don't have any ideas for routes we could take, but a nice meeting spot/destination could be the vintage swap meet in wheatridge.
Heres the link if you want to look it up:

Its a really cool swap meet for all of us that are generation deprived and were born too late, or those of you lucky enogh to survive the motorcycle wars of the 60s and 70s. Plus I'd like to find some other KZ people to ride with this summer. I know the date is a little far off, but I'm hoping by then the weather will figure out what it wants to do

It isn't that far Scott. Maybe we can meet up on the way there. Too bad Link or Mountain can't join us unless Link is up to it. Ronkz650 is right in Wheat ridge with you Gosling, you should check him out sometime.

Scott, glad to hear your going to press your machine to make the long journey north:) I've been to the swap meet a couple of times and they always have some cool stuff there. I am still open for any rides to/from there, or even before then too.

I've got the swap meet on my schedule, but I'll have to see if I'm driving down with or without the KZ400 loaded in the back. Accidently laid the bike down in the yard yesterday :pinch: . No scratches or dings, but now it won't start....nothing from the starter. So this weekend I get to learn about starting system.

Think I'm jinxed. I'll keep you guys posted.

That's too bad about your starter. It would be cool if you could make it. The only two groups I ever see there on a regular basis is the beemer guys and the tea drinking norton fellas. It should be a good show though

I'm glad you remembered your anniversary, but that's too bad that you may not be able to go. We should still try for a group ride though.:)

Sounds good to me, I went on a nice one Sunday - Deer Creek up to 285, over and up to Morrison, through Evergreen to 1-70 and then into Lakewood. I didn't even think about posting here before. Feel free to email me for future rides - I'm game.

I live in western Ne. I have an aunt that lives on Deer Creek Canyon Rd. awesome drive can't wait to ride it. If you are planning a Mtn. ride I'll be there. Sounds like a great time to get out of flatrock.
