New to the Garage kz twin
29 Oct 2006 10:06
I was finally able to get his picked up yesterday in Mich , Maybe some saw it on Ebait ,, I bought this for 600.00 with only 8896 miles on it , The Guy was real nice so as we talked he told me how he got it , It turns out that he has rentals in Detroit ,, Kinda run down ones from what I saw , anyway when his renter run out of money he takes what they have in trade for pass due rent money and that is how he got the Bike ,, Titel and all .. I am not sure what people are thinking when they install the king /queen seat on these twins ,, it just is wrong ,, anyway I have two of these Damn things now The seat that is ,, I also have a real nice full Vetter Fairing that is up for grabs if that is your thing ,, I rode this bike today But it is far from right .. You know the the ad read runs good .. ? Not really sure how that as ??? I am sure I will continue to post as it comes together ,, So what do you think ? Try to see it with out that Gawd awful seat ..

I can barely make it out in the pic, but it looks pretty good....
Glad I didn't see it for sale in my area here... I don't need another!
Now, let's get her running smoooooooooth...
EDIT: Oh yeah, my second 750 had one of those seats on it too... it's in the basement, if anyone wants it.. I might just keep it to put it on if I ever resell it...

just a note to you guys with those king/queen seats....
the other half's Honda had one on it when he bought it, was a travelcade model. he found a stock seat to replace it and put the travelcade up on the 'bay...got over $200 + shipping for that darn thing! not sure if it was because of the model bike it fit, or the brand or what, but some of them can bring in some good change.
looks like a keeper from what i can see of it in that tiny pic...
