My latest 78 1000a relove
14 Jul 2024 05:38
Well, getting close to the finish line on my latest build,I call it my relove because I don't restore, I'm not that technical with 100% correctness and these bikes were loved when new,at some point the love was lost and the bike was neglected.Enter me. This one wasn't too bad but it needed it cosmetically but engine was sound with relatively low miles. First the pressure wash, then total tear down to the bare frame . this is where the fun begins. For me it's like building a model, just bigger.im including some pics of my progress, mostly just waiting on bodywork from paint. I will update when finished

Well, another one almost ready to go. I learned alot on this one.Im not usually the guy for originality but this bike called out for it. There's some upgrades I did either because finding original parts are impossible or like the steel braided brake li es to me are a must.
luckily, I have another ruff 78 1000a in the waiting, but this one ill hotrod. Its much easier. Lol
