Well,another winter is soon. To be here so I dug out my next redo.Its another 1978 1000 A2. I have some nice original parts for this one.Im going to try to go that route,even though they're only original once.I will keep you guys posted as the progress goes.

After the pressure wash I found this frame to be really nice.And being retired and on a budget i decided to save some $$ on sandblasting and scuff and sand by hand.I'll do it in sections. Little at a time. Once finished sanding I'll hang it and top coat it. Not bad so far

Hey Ronnie - A question about serial stickers.  I'm going to replace mine on my 1974,  right now my original (?) sticker faces the other way from the one in your photo (mine reads from the right side}.  Is this something that varies from year to year or is it a random thing?  Just curious, If mine is backwards I can correct it when I apply the new sticker.

I've seen them both ways. I'm going by how it was originally. My 77 650 is like yours
