I’m gonna plead the 5th on that given what I am doing currentlyNice work. Good to see a frame in that state being put back into circulation - somebody else may have just used that as an excuse to butcher it even more

I saved a nice stock frame someone cut the back tri's off of. Luckily I had a couple other frames. I made a jig on a good frame, I used battery box mounts, then transferred over to the one for welding, could not even tell! The new owner of the sold, titled frame was very happy!

blackozvet post=869949You obviously got that from the "what were they thinking ?" discount department !
You nailed it, as i was working on it i was trying to figure out the rhyme and reason behind some of the cuts, to figure why keep some things and loose others, it the exhaust that has me though, its perfect, not a blemish on it bar the back ends cut off.

Ah but the difference is that you will have a running bike at the end of it all ,not a frame that will live in the rafters of a garage.

Thanks mate, its a untitled frame but Ireland is one of the few places that you can get papers for a vintage frame easy enough.
