1989 Kawasaki GT750 Shaft drive motorcycle was created by Koos
Hi everyone. I am new on this site and new to the bike projects game. I have purchased a 89 Kawasaki GT750, which is a shaft drive bike, and busy stripping everything to spray the frame and do some work on it. But my issue is, i am struggling to remove the motor, due to the shaft drive issue. Can anyone provide info on how to remove the shaft, as i do not want to damage the bike. Thanks for your help in advance.

On the left side there's a rubber boot that connects to the bevel gear drive and the swingarm; if you pull that back and look closely, there's a small hole on the engine side of the shaft drive u-joint. Press down on that and pull back on the shaft, it should slide right off.
