GPz750A3 Unitrak - last of the air-cooled?

Having really liked the Geepers back in the Eighties, I finally got myself a 750, no doubt influenced y a good mate who accompanied me on many travels in the '90s when I had my standard-ish Z650.
It's a little rough around the edges, and in need of some pampering, and will hopefully end up as being the GPz750 that I would have lusted after on the late 80s...

Air-cooled.  There were also the 90s Zephyrs & later ZR7/ZR7S with engines based on the 650/750 engine.

That's true Martin, thanks for reminding me ;-)
My comment was actually referring to the A3 as being the last of the air-cooled GPz, before they became the GPZ with the 900R etc ;-)

All points taken on board!   I need to tweak the title of this thread I guess!   Anyone know how/if I can do that?...

I was also thinking about making some 'period correct' modifications while I was refreshing this bike.... things like a fork brace, braced swinging arm etc. It's already got a Harris 4:1 exhaust tat needs some refurbishment, and I have an aftermarket Japanese 4:1 as well tat is in slightly better condition, and of course it has the twin headlght conversion, but I was wondering what other mods might be suitable, and of benefit? Fork internals upgrade? Frame bracing? Anyone?
