I just brought this baby home today,1978 a2 , mostly original,12,000 miles , previous owner owned it since 82 and kept her nice.I think I paid too much but couldn't resist.
77 ltd1000 80 ltd1000 78kz1000a ,02 red zrx 12r, 94 cb1000 big one ,03 valkyrie (my couch) 65 olds 442

The OEM exhaust looks good. They're worth their weight in gold since they were only used in '77 & '78.

Z1parts sells a good looking repop, but I've never seen one in real life.  z1parts.net/complete-seat-kz900-kz1000/

I haven’t found anyone who repo’s the correct seat. The Z1 pattern is closest ( z1parts.net/complete-seat-w-z1-pattern-kz900-kz1000-ltd/ ) but the proper one has larger squares.
