I’m a new member and haven’t found much bout brakes, but I’m new. I have a 1983 kz750 Ltd that has been in the garage for awhile. I want to get it going to be an everyday ride. Bring it out today I found that the front and back brakes had no fluid. The back brakes were sticking and had a little corrosion around the piston. Can I add fluid and try things out or since there’s no fluid should I be looking at replacing/rebuilding everything? Any and all advice is appreciated

I would repair and replace as needed before riding it. You do not want to take chances with brakes.
If there was no fluid, then there was a leak someplace, or somebody took the systems apart and just threw them back together for some reason. The lack of fluid will make it much easier for corrosion and dirt to infiltrate the entire hydraulic system.

A complete tear down, inspection and rebuild (including all of the soft parts) is the only way I would go. Soft parts include all of the seals, washers and hoses.
