That wheel I have has a 25.0/5.5-18 drag slick on it, so it's possible. But that wheel is now composed of three wheels welded together, so not the cheapest option.

I'm not sure what look you're going for, but have you considered PMC wheels? They have a 5 and 7 spoke that look like the Enkei / Morris mags, as well as a copy of the Dymag 3 spoke. They come in 18x4.0, 4.5, and 4.75"

[Also, z1kzonly, I talked to my dad about his wheel. The first half was done by Puppet, just like yours. He ran it like that with the tire offset, and then later my dad and some friends did the other half.
WOW! Yes "Puppet" was an artist genius! He was the master fabricator! All by hand! That weld on the left looked like his work. We all had a saying. "Pup could weld stainless steel to toilet paper" Before CAD CAM Computers, Puppet Built Larry McBrides old Blue, he ran for 20 yrs. He Built Elmer Tretts bike when it was the fastest and quickest bike on the planet! And Jim "Da Judge" McClure's Harley that was the fastest HD Fueler.Wow memories! I might think of that! I am pretty sure it is the 2.15" I have to dig thru a snow drift to get into garage today! Our first real snow this winter! Ya' Buffalo's 1st snow!

There is a spoke rim that Pup built, that is an old legend, triple weld!! That I have seen!! "Mike Pugs" Mike Puglia was an old record setter 2 stroke racer bake in the day. He is hoarding it. And would never sell it. LIke I said way back Puppet built the jig for holding the pieces for welding. Then sold it to Paul Gast from FBG back in the day!

I have been looking at those but they are big money, but i would probably go for the Dymag replica over the Morris. the cheapest route for a big rear tire is is to get custom rims and spokes from Buchanan but i do love some cool mags, also no tubes.

this is the firm that used to do it for Kosman, two blocks away from my work. www.custommetalspinning.com/

If you're not going for specific look, the 86-87 gsxr750 and 1100 used wide 18" wheels (and tubeless). I think they are 3.5 and 4" (750,1100)? The fronts are 2.5 and 2.75" I think?

I looked at at those but I would have to redo my front brake setup which i have a lot of time in and works well. I would also prefer to keep a 19” front. Sorry to derail the thread...
