Kz650ltd/sr gas tank

I’ve been scouring the internet looking for one of these tanks to put on my 750 virago, but I can’t find one anywhere. Anyone have suggestions? I’ve found a 400 tank but it’s much too small.

There are a good many 750H (LTD) model tanks on ebay.

What year is the Yamaha & why are you looking for a KZ650 LTD or SR fuel tank instead of a Virago tank? Those Ltd/SR coffin tanks can be kind of hard to find.

I’m trying to do a cafe style build, and would love a tank style like that. It’s the perfect look that I am going for. I will look for he 750 Ltd tank, see if it suits my taste. It is an 81 Yamaha virago 750. The 750h/LTD is not the style I am looking for. I am trying for a ziggymoto style, mixed with the moose design build.

Thanks. I figured that was the reason. Just a suggestion. some of the GPz fuel tanks are kind of neat, but they're also hard to find or pricy. A few other models have the same type of gpz-style fuel tank, including some Euro models. Ltd fuel tanks are Kawasaki's version of a peanut tank.

not mine. European model & not sold in the USA.

..... KZ1000 ELR fuel tank.
