Finally got it registered and made a seat! Found this bike a year ago (abandoned probably 8 years earlier) sinking into the ground with the bottom of the fuel tank rusted out.

That's nice and simple. Did you put a brace between the shock mounts? The 550 has a small one near there already, but a stronger one would make for a more rigid frame. It looks like you can weld, so I figured you may have done it already.

Looks like you actually repaired the original tank. Nice job. I actually like that sorta look... apocalyptic, but authentic.
