Love this bike as I’ve owned her since 1986.
So decided a full rebuild was in order.

Here’s a few more pics of rebuild.

Sweet! With the long rear fender, the FSM shows it as a 1981 A1 model, if I am not mistaken.
Where is this bike located?

You did a great job, the bike looks brand new.
I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

If possible, please post a pic of the gauges over that beautiful blue gas tank, as one would view from the driver seat.

I love the American DOT regulations.
The long rear fender is due to the time period European Motorcycle regulations, a rear wheel (tire surface) must be covered
by the rear fender min. 150 mm over the rear wheel axle. It´s like Wernher von Braun rocket science.
