KZ 550 brat scrambler - awarded for design
01 Jan 2019 15:18 - 01 Jan 2019 15:22
Hey everyone! A while ago I've finished rebuilding my 1982 KZ 550. Originally it was in a terrible condition and it was about to end up at the wreckers.
However I decided to save it and give it a new life. Lately I also recieved praising words from the cafe racer community in the Czech Republic and participated at a very prestigious motorcycle exhibition called the All Ride Show. You can see some parts were designed by me and then 3D printed. The tank has been chemically blackened - really interesting finish.
I want to thank you all for advice with my stuck carbs and other issues I've met along the way. It was a great fun building the bike and it's even more fun to ride it! Cheers
Frank

Very cool looking bike. I really like the meaty tires.
