I never keep up to date on here and even worse i suck at taking pictures of my work, but ive been doing better with the pictures so i share a few i took along the way up to this point,
the bike was ridden with the previous subframe but it wasnt enough for me so i thought of some ideas for something ive never seen and got to work.

Above is the bike with the modified, stock subframe and rearset mounts i made and welded on a few months back.

Chopped off, trash, done.

Next i had to grind all the old weld and crap off the frame and get ready for the new.. whatever you wanna call it lol

I made caps to weld in where the tubes used to meet the frame

Forks and swingarm went on and the bike was set at the ride height i wanted. I took this time to make a seat pan and i was also able see where my shock mount would be and i made that up and welded everything

Well it seems Its time for this engine to see the workbench yet again.
A few days ago I got the bike wired up and ready to start but I found a bad coil and my regulator rectifier from the beginning of time decided it didnt like having wires attached to it anymore and they all finally broke off so I ordered a new one.
Today I put the new parts on and wired up a battery,
Now heres where things suck. I have spark on all 4 but I'm only running on 3. I'm noticing an oil leak from the topend of the engine but it could be my tach bc i dont have the cable in or it's something worse, I didnt look to close as I was more concerned with the oil in the cylinder (#2). I'm not sure where it's getting In and i wont be sure until I get the engine apart. So I'll be in the shop getting to work for the next few days on this and I'll be back with answers hopefully soon
