That truly is an amazing VIN!!! Can you post a picture of the label that is attached to the bike's steering neck? That will not only show the VIN but will also show the month the bike was built. That will provide excellent documentation of when the model year began. Thanks! Ed

I was in the market for a kz1000 to go on long hauls and carry a passenger. Figured a 750 would do the trick for this year clean it up then upgrade next year. After seeing the vin# plans have changed for this find. The guy just wanted it gone and sold it for $400. I rode it home lol

The 750E has nearly the same power as the older KZ1000's. Lots of people assume that the KZ1000 is a faster bike - it isn't! In fact, the 750 is quicker / faster, lighter, handles way better, gets better fuel economy, and is considerably more compact and fun to ride IMO.
Add to that you have NUMBER 1 (!!!!!!!) and I'd say you made the correct purchase decision here!!!!! Great find!

Well there is problems with this bike to be honest.... its a riot to ride!!! :woohoo: The last guy who owned it removed the factory exhaust and center stand(dummy) As much as I like the sound of a yosh pipe just cant stay on this bike. Any part I change has to be NOS, gets expensive lol So it looks like I'm still looking for a daily rider! My H1 500 just cant do the long hauls so maybe back to kijji to find something to just ride. In the mean time this old girl isn't a trailer queen yet time to enjoy it before restoration starts.
