My '82 440 LTD

Looks like the larger hole that I repaired still has a tiny leak. Going to get some POR15 to seal the tank from the inside. Two steps forward, one step back.

Found the pinhole that I missed. Got the seat cover done. Repainting the parts of the tank that got messed up.

Got tires mounted and swapped. Shimmed the cush drive since it was loose.

Lots of progress. Have you had her out yet?

Quick spin around the block. It sputters when it gets warm and under load. Need to check timing and carbs.

how's the build going?

Haven't taken any time to do any tuning. Pretty chilly also here in the 'burgh. Might not get to it until the spring.

Finally got back to this. Need to do a compression check. Since this had been sitting outside for years, might have some issues w/the right cylinder. Combustion doesn't feel as strong on that side compared to the left. Also need to check the float levels. It's running quite rich. With pod filters, it should be lean if anything. Also need to replace the padding on the seat. It's quite hard.

Once that's all worked out, I'll be tearing her down for a full repaint.
