"Lone Wolf" began it's existence with the purchase of a 1980 Kawasaki KZ 1000, in May of 2017.
These are the Modifications made by me so far.
Removed existing Steering Modifications of previous owner/builder and installed normal handlebars.
Problem : Throttle Cable is now too short and will have to be replaced so that handlebars can be raised.
The gas tank you see is only temporary. I wanted to run some Carb Cleaner through it, and upon inspection found the
tank that was on the bike to be too rusted to do the job. So, I used a clean tank I had on hand.
This will eventually be replaced with a 5.12 Gal. beer keg that will be modified and permanently mounted.

The seat modifications are still in the planning stages...

The Suicide Shifting as well as the pedal Clutch will remain as is although the Shifter needs to be changed with the
raising of the seat. I was thinking of utilizing a cane for the purpose.
Other things to be done are: Turn Signals installed. (seems to have been overlooked by previous owner/builder).
Shop for Rear End. After quite a bit of research I have decided to try going with a Ford Ranger
rear end, and will be going to check prices at my local Pick-a-Part.

A little progress has been made since last week and I can see the light, dim as it still is, at the end of the tunnel, as far as
"Lone Wolf" actually being ridden for the first time.
I'm thinking a couple well placed U bolt clamps will have the seat raising completed.

The new throttle cables have still got to be ordered and installed. And I still have to address the change of the shifter.
Thinking I might carve something myself to fit the purpose. I have carved, stained, and varnished many Hiking Staffs in the past,
why not a gear shifter?

I have changed my mind about the rear end, after locating an Chevy S10 w/Disc Brakes at a local scrap yard right here in town.
Haven't purchased it as yet, but I'm not too far away from finding it in my budget.
