I have been quietly working away on the bike, very busy with work at the moment so fitting the build in when I can.
Currently the adapters are off being machined, so whilst I await their delivery I have been plugging away.
Mainly I have been working on the exhaust, brakes, wiring loom and other cosmetics.
So I took the bike out of the garage today to have a look at it in the sunlight.

The old lady in me is wondering how that front wheel is going to stand up to the torque of the engine. Also, have you checked the compression on the rear shocks there? Is there enough clearance??

The front wheel should be fine, however it is all an experiment at this point. This front to back wheel conversion is very well used for Yamaha XS650 wheels and Harley Sportster wheels so no reason to think that an Enkei wheel will have a problem.
The rear shocks look good at the moment, there is a lot of clearance underneath, they are fully adjustable so I can lengthen them, but I will keep an eye on it as the build moves along.

Sorry for lack of updates to this build, but I have been working hard to get it completed.
The rear wheel adapters have now been produced by the machine shop and incredibly beautiful they are too.

Here they are in place on the bike, I think they will work very well indeed.
The chainline is perfect and the disc fits and does not bind, so all in all a hell of a lot of work, but really worth the effort.

Now the main reason that I haven't updated the thread is simply because I have been working as much as I can on the bike. However that is pretty much weekends only and there was a lot of work needed to be carried out on the wiring loom which really took its time.
But today I finished the build and took it outside to show the world.
This is the finished (probably) article.
