My "Project" Since May 2016 - KZ750m CSR

I bought this bike last May for a few hundred bucks. It worked and ran fine, minus the battery. However, I've honestly never been on a motorcycle. Never grew up with them, didn't know much about them. Ever since i can remember, I've lived on a bicycle since I was 5. At 13 I had bought one of those china 50cc motors and strapped in on a bike, which I had kept until someone had hit me on it a few years later. I'm 24 now, and since then, it has been a dream of mine to own my own motorcycle. When I bought this bike, I knew nothing about it, and couldn't even ride it home. That needed to change. Since then, I've been teaching myself whatever I can from whatever resources I find. All the work I've done has been within the confines of an upstairs apartment balcony, or outside in the parking lot where it currently sits as a paperweight.

I'm an amateur; I lack the space, knowledge and tools that many people around here have. But, we all have to start somewhere, and I don't let any of those things stop me from doing the best I can.

These are a few of the many photos I've taken. I've made a lot of mistakes and have spent a lot of time experimenting and learning, but most of these are the "end results".

What did you use for the tank trim? I was going to use the "chrome" type but the black looks pretty nice.
