A pretty interesting example of the K.I.S.S. principle.

Awesome... back when mustaches were required to match your handle bars.

I don't see any brakes... possibly a board track racer? Prob not, since the front fender looks pretty important.

No apparent throttle control and the exhaust pipe is right under his elbow. Could those fat things above the front wheel really be springs, or is it some sort of primitive brake??

No evidence of a clutch, either.

Oh, wait, could that pipe be the intake, and the exhaust exits through open ports about mid way down the cylinders in front?
WEEEHAAA!!! :woohoo:

Yes, I think the front end is a weird type of springer. The rear half of the fender is actually supporting the swingarm for the front wheel, and the vertical contraption parallel to the steer tube must be some kind of spring.

As for the motor... your guess is as good as mine. Very cool looking, though. That thing is all motor and wheels.

No brakes, no clutch, no trans, (direct drive?) max throttle ... maybe a top-speed salt flat racer?

Maybe he gets pulled by horses to get started? :)

Zoom in on the pic and look at the chain ans sprockets on that thing.

The sprockets look more like gears.
