Im looking for the list of fork lengths,I must have it somewhere and Im curious now.

I have a set of the zx9r forks in my rafters, they are indeed plenty long and there's mods you can do to the top tree to gain another 3/4" or so. One of the members here had details on that in his build thread

Any idea who? Im curious as I was talking with someone about it today and Ive seen the stepped triple trees but how would you 'mod' a triple tree?

I think it's mark1112 or some username like that? The top bolt on the zx9r is recessed, he had that area cut out, and a plate welded flush with the top of the tree, allowing the top clamp to be dropped 3/4" or so, effectively lengthening the forks, and using the stock triples

Huge thanks from me as well. That is a very cool and simple mod that I would never have thought off.

With that mod the usds come close to the stock length.

That is indeed a nice list davido. Usually I check allballs their conversion chart which comes in handy too. You can find it on their website. Allballs fork conversion But they don't include stem length etc.

Ok, I have a full zx7r front from the year 97-03. I was lucky to find it, but I doubt I'll find a full zx9r front end that easily. So now I'll go research and see if the forks are interchangeable, then I can use the zx7r brakes, triples, wheel, with the zx9r forks. It will be easier just finding forks, than a full front end.

There are a couple of slooperijs advertising from Belgium.I bought mine from a guy in the south of Holland. You might get lucky and find something near to you.

The forks I believe are interchangeable, not sure if the trees are the same for the 7 and 9 or not tho

As far as I have researched for interchangeability between zx7r 97-03 and zx9r 94-97 the rotors, wheel and axle are interchangeable, but the brake calipers are not. zx9r is also 4 pot caliper, and zx7r 6 pot. I don't know about the trees yet.

Yup davido, I think he's called broux sloperij. I bought a few things from him in the past which were good. Btw I forgot, but that Jan Smit is also known around here! Never been there though, but heard only good things about that guy.

I went onto markplaats and 2dehands and sent around some mails, got two ridiculous high prices till now. But... I called another guy in belgium who's parting out a zx9r and he has the full front end left except for the clip ons. I offered him 200 euros by phone and he accepted But first I'll go see what the condition of the stanchions are before I buy.

ZXR750 forks. Very cheap!! Dodgy chrome but at that price you could afford to get them rechromed.
