That seat finally came in today on that slow boat from China. :silly:

Nice! Excited to see the progress coming along. As far as the big kawasaki sign, is it a former sign board , or is it meant to be illuminated from behind ? It would be pretty badass to light it and keep it in your garage workshop.

Your bikes gonna look great, I just picked up a jaket on amazon.. think it would go well with your bike ( www.motorcyclehouse.com/motorcycle-jackets-for-men.htm ) Ironborn jacket. its a lot cheaper on amazon! Just a suggestio

Steering damper and oil pressure gauge installed. Made some number plates and front motor mounts from brushed aluminium. Just about finished. Going to build a set of high pipes soon.

How'd you mount up the seat?
I'm guessing it was an ebay special?

Just bought a KZ400 and beginning the learning process.. slight tear in my seat thought about refoaming/reupholstery on the original seat pan but if there's pop on options that'd be nice. Lower seat height the better for my girl to learn on.

Seat came from China but its a nice molded plastic seat pan. It comes with some cheesy brackets so i just made my own. Undo 1 nut under the fender and it comes off. I made a bracket that slides under the tank.
