Painted motor looks really nice. I used 98 GSXR 750W USD forks which are substantially wider. I just cut out a piece of steel to lay on top of the existing tab that was welded to the tube and welded it on.

Kaw-a-holic The bandit forks are wide enough its the the triple clamp angle between stem and forks legs.
Needs a larger of set. maybe this.

Sorry gtrain, I was just sharing how I kept my forks from hitting the tank. I modified the stock steering stop.

OK kaw-a-holic thanks for the input, I've swooped the trip clamp for a 1200 ZG voyager clamp, had the original stem fitted and the fork tube holes machined out 2mm to take the suzuki forks, The top clamp sits a little higher,
and I'll have to use 1" handle bars !

i have machined out "shims" from 1" .065 wall thickness tubing to use to make 7/8's bars fit where 1" bars were originally.
just a thought.

HELP looking for a little advise, I fitted a hydraulic clutch master cylinder
ZX14 slave cylinder I copied mark1122 idea and made a adapter plate so the
slave would fit the side cover,
I also made a larger fitting with a recess for the end of push rod
to accommodate for the ball in the center of the piston (1-2 mm off center)
There is no free travel in the push rod, there is no air in the system,
I have full hydraulic clutch lever movement, (its a bit heavy )
but the clutch doesn't quite fully release.
It has a Universal Clutch Master Cylinder
fully braided line.
Is the master cylinder too small or the slave too big?
disregard bleeder nipple plumping.

sounds to me like you need just a tad of free play to allow the piston to fully release.

Ha Leon, What I mean is when you pull the clutch in there is still drag between the plates,
two of us can just push the bike in gear with the clutch in?
