'78 Z1-R Restoration Progress was created by weales

A couple of pics taken recently of my project - thought it was time that it got a breath of fresh air! Rebuilt and fitted front brakes yesterday - hope to get them bled this week. Looking forward to some warmer weather so I can get the motor cleaned up and repainted and then I can fill that big gap in the frame! (more pics to come later)

It's an Oz version and is my 3rd of this species - although some 36 years have elapsed
since I had my previous 2 Z1-Rs (first one got stolen  !)
First saw these in NZ back at the Marlboro Series and just had to have one ;) !. The
mighty Croz was magic on one of these, especially around the street circuits -
huuge wheelies and challenging the factory racers.
