83 750 Spectre basket case reasseble/rebuild

This bike was given to me buy a long time friend. The bike has 21.3k original miles, mostly highway I'm told. It has sat in pieces for a few years in his garage. The bike was running when he tore it down with the intent of chopping and bobbing it, so I know I can get it running again. I notice there was oil seepage at a couple points on the head, and since the engine is already out I will go ahead and replace the headgasket. I will also inspect the top end during the headgasket work, anything worn will get replaced. As promised in my introduction posting, I have taken lots of pics, and will continue to do so throughout this project.

Thanks for the Welcome, and for the engine rebuild link as well I tracked down the front bevel gear case cover gasket today, as the one on the bike is torn. Will order it friday, as well as a group of missing bolts for various items on the bike...
