My 1981 kz650 was created by mgel
I'm new to this forum, but I'm pretty proud of my latest project. My dad, his buddy and I completely overhauled this bike.. Very little cost overall. Enjoy the before and after pics, I have more to post.

Gotta tell ya, I liked what you had before. However the new paint, exhaust, and shocks bring old, new and custom together in a very cool way. I like it! Please keep those pictures coming. Also, I wish I had your garage work space.

You should consider getting a front fender; otherwise you will be throwing road slop all over the bike and yourself especially when you ride on a wet street (guess how I know). If you decide not to install a fender you should at least install a fork brace. Otherwise your forks will flex. The stock fender has a built-in brace. Ed
