$100 77 kz900 basket case was created by 68dave
Just picked up this rough 1977 900 basket case for a $100 bucks from a co-worker of my dads. It came with a clear MD title, 2 crates of parts and a set of stuck 28mm pumper carbs. Engine is seized. But for the price i had to buy it. Hope the pics load.

I know, she's a mutt. Personally i think she is well past the point of being a project, more like parts now. The titled frame is worth something and no broken fins on the head so somebody might need the engine for a complete rebuild or for a core. I needed a set of 28mm pumper carbs now after buying this heap i have 3 sets, lol.

That's a great find, plenty of good parts. I could use an exhaust like that but not certain it will work on my 650. And that seat would look great on my bike. Are you parting on EBay or posting a list here? I'll stay tuned when you do.

The kerker headpipe is rusted. Seat pan is solid. I would part it out if anybody wanted anything. I was camping this past weekend when the seller called me so i left the wife & dog at the campground headed right over to meet the seller. I dropped the bike off at my brother's garage because it was closer than my garage. I still have to go get it from there and bring it home. The seller also threw in some kz1000 oem manuals.

Would you sell everything?
I would be interested in buying all of it.
I would like to build another one with all of my spare parts.
Let me know.

I had a guy offer me $700 for it today, he mainly wanted it for the frame & title. He said he was converting a old drag bike back to street and the drag bike didn't have a title. He said he's been looking for a titled frame for a while with no luck. I told him to bring me the cash and it was his. Not sure if he's bs'ing me but i gave him my number.
