Hello! New here.. Not new to bikes but new to restoring them.

My father gave me his 1980 KZ750 Since he doesn't have the time or money to restore it.. It has sentimental value to me since it was the first bike I ever rode on (as a passenger) and it's the reason I got into motorcycling as a little kid to begin with.. Now that i'm in my mid 20s It'd be wonderful to get this bike back on the road.
It's been sitting for about ~9 years. It was last started 7 years ago.

I did do Marvel's Mystery Oil in the cylinders before trying to crank it, and it seemed to crank over so I have begun work on it.

This is my progress on it so far, and I'll update this as I make progress

As it sat in the garage, tied down for years.

Unfortunately due to this, the suspension needs to be rebuilt (front and rear)

It's first time out of the garage in probably ten years.

As the carbs sat currently.. Air filters gone.. Bet this will be bad.

Wrong Apparently. Not so bad.

The worst float bowl.

After sitting in ChemDip with everything removed

Not so bad?

Now to wait for new floats.

Ride one day at a time.
