Hi everyone,
I am new to the forum and the site. I just picked ip my first project bike. Its a 1981 KZ250. I picked it up in a trade for a set of speakers. It has a clean title and it was last registered in 2011. I was told that it ran when parked. He said that it fouls the plug. But hey, for a set of speakers, I would say its a ok deal. I dont know what my plan is for it yet, a couple people I talked to said I should chop it and make a little "bobber type" bike. But we will see how it goes. Heres a few pics. I dont think thats the original seat thats on it.

With respect to your friends advice, It's your bike, Get it going. Ride and tune it to where it's runs well and reliable. Then make it "your" style, the way YOU want it. Just because "everyone" is doing brat is no reason for you to do it too. If you do want to go down that ride, do it with your spin on it. Whatever style you take, do NOT take shortcuts to your safety.

I don't have a plan and I'm sticken' to it! '77 KZ 650 / 750 GPz custom project in progress

I was getting a fatal error too for a while until Leon gave me the link to a site where I can resize an image:

Leon:

most probably too big.
i use resize.it/advanced-online-photo-tools.html

choose file
make the image exactly this height in pixels [817]
make the image exactly this width in pixels [1089]
hit the [okay]button.

when the picture pops up just right click(somewhere outside of the crop box) and save it to your files.and it will be re-sized .
they will then be this size.

It has worked very well for me.
