First Run of the Year

Greetings Kzr faithful.
Thought I would take my old girl out for short run on the street today. Still lots of snow up here but finally the temps are looking promising. Should be out running in about a month or so once the roads are properly cleaned and the snowbanks are a distant memory.

I decided to take the bike outside and let it warm up and of course after hearing it run the little devil on my shoulder advising me decided that I had to give it a little rip on the street. The guy walking on the street with the little kid asked me to give it a quick shot so I obliged (keeping in mind the crappy roads and their presence.)

The bike ran great and the fellow asked me if I was interesting in selling it as he has always wanted a Kz. Told him no as the old 650 is a family heirloom that will be passed to my son when I am too old to swing my leg over the old girl.
