For anyone interested, I have gotten pretty close to running an 89 sportster carb conversion on my 78 750 twin. A little fine tuning of the needle jet and should be running top notch. Only took 7 different pilots, 3 different mains and a drop in the needle taper. Will post pictures in a bit.
